NAR has mandated that all REALTORS® must complete a MANDATORY Ethics Training Program and Fair Housing / Anti-Bias Training upon becoming a member, and every 3 years thereafter, coinciding with the Code of Ethics training timeline. This requirement is in addition to the Code of Ethics training. The three-year cycle began on January 1, 2025, and ends on December 31, 2027.

How to Complete Your Code of Ethics:

• • • • LICENSE RENEWAL: If you plan to renew your RE license between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2027, the ethics course included in your license renewal does satisfy this requirement.  
      • ONLINE COURSES: Online courses are most convenient to assist in completing the requirements.  There are several available online options and resources to assist you in fulfilling this requirement.  Each course meets the specific criteria and learning objectives required for either new REALTORS® or existing REALTORS®.
        • NAR Online Code of Ethics Training
          • FREE with no continuing education credits.
          • Automatic notification to SRAR and N.A.R. 
        • CAR Online Continue Education Training
          • All OnlineEd packages meet DRE requirements and include an Ethics course that also fulfills the REALTOR® Code of Ethics training requirement for N.A.R. Courses for Existing Members are FREE!
