Overview
SRAR has a Government Affairs Committee that supports the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) in their efforts to pass legislation that is: REALTOR®-friendly, protects private property rights, supports homeownership, and promotes an economic environment in which businesses and the real estate industry can thrive.
The committee takes positions and offers input on local legislative matters, environmental and community issues that are of concern to property owners, REALTORS®, and the real estate industry.
They develop and maintain close relationships with legislators representing the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys through frequent meetings and correspondence.
Members of the GA committee are representing the REALTOR® Party. The REALTOR® Party is the non-partisan approach to moving forward legislation that is of benefit and value to all REALTORS®.
We are the REALTOR® Party of California and we Vote!
