History
Established in 1990, the Southland Regional Association of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on our communities. We’ve been serving the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys for over three decades thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers and donors.
Mission
The primary purpose of the Foundation is to raise and donate funds to not-for-profit worthy groups or activities operating within the territory of the Southland Regional Association of REALTORS®, to enhance the environment, to improve the social, educational, cultural, or economic well-being of the community, promote access to housing, or which will improve the real estate profession or the private ownership of real
Beneficiaries
Over the years, we’ve been privileged to support a wide range of worthy causes, including:
- Family Promise: providing temporary housing and support for unhoused families
- New Horizons: empowers individuals with special needs (age 16 and older) to reach their full potential and fulfill their dreams.
- MAPS Charities: provides a vast cross-section of services to seniors and their families.
- Safe Parking LA: providing safe parking and services for unhoused individuals.
- Bridge to Home: assisting homeless individuals and families to find permanent housing.
- Homes 4 Families: providing affordable housing for veteran families in need.
- Hope the Mission: offers unhoused individuals shelter, food, and other services.
We believe in the power of giving back in all we do. While your generous donations are tax-deductible, more importantly, they contribute to building stronger, more vibrant communities, directly impacting the lives of those in need.
